An Evening Gala to Commemorate
the 60th Anniversary of the End of World War II
On
Saturday, October 15, 2005, Battleship Cove, Massachusetts'
official World War II memorial, invites veterans,
their families, and the general public to join them
in commemorating the 60th anniversary of the end
of history's greatest conflict by attending an evening
gala at Fall River Heritage State Park. Tickets
are now on sale for $75 per person and include cocktails,
hors d'oeuvres, and hours of entertainment by the
renowned Compaq Big Band.
