USS Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr. is home to the Admiral Arleigh Burke National Destroyermen's Museum. She earned two battle stars in Korea and served with distinction throughout the Cold War. The ship was a popular "second home" to President and Mrs. Kennedy and was the only vessel on which Robert Kennedy ever served.
