Under the leadership of Board Member Nicholas Christ, USS Massachusetts was awarded a $10M dry-dock overhaul.

A MODEL CITIZEN: Director and former president Nicholas Christ came on board in 1986, when he arrived to Fall River as a senior officer of Citizen's-Union Savings Bank. Holding a Bachelor's degree in accounting from Boston College and an MBA from Babson College, Mr. Christ was a driving force in the campaign to secure the $10,000,000 to dry-dock USS Massachusetts and USS Lionfish in 1998-1999.

Immersed in a number of charitable organizations, Mr. Christ personifies the spirit of volunteerism, and his financial training and experience, and his dedication to education have benefited every organization with which he has been involved.
