From New York State and points northwest

  • Take Massachusetts Turnpike to Route 495 South.
  • Take Route 24 South to Fall River.
  • Take Exit 7 (State Route 79).
  • Take Davol Street Exit (2nd Exit).
  • Follow the signs (Waterfront, Heritage State Park, or Battleship Cove) along the waterfront to Battleship Cove.


From New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Providence (RI) areas

  • Take Interstate 95N to Providence, RI
  • Take 195 East and follow for approximately 14 miles, (do not take exit 5 in Rhode Island-proceed into Massachusetts)
  • take Exit 5 from the Braga Bridge in Fall River, MA
  • Bear left at the fork in the road, turn left at the stop sign and left again at the first traffic light onto Central Street
  • Proceed down the hill into the parking lot.

A DATE OF INFAMY: Battleship Cove will commemorate the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor by hosting a brief ceremony at 12:55 p.m. -- the exact hour of the Japanese strike. Located on the Battleship Massachusetts, the service will include wreath-casting rites prefaced by brief remarks from Battleship Cove's Executive Director. Subsequently, attendees will be invited to adjourn to the Pearl Harbor Room to share perspectives on Pearl Harbor and its timeless relevance.
