Seaside Cinema

Summer 2005
Experience the cinema just as sailors during World War II did: outside on the battleship fantail. And it's FREE! Running as weather permits, Battleship Cove's summer film series is open to the public seasonally on Thursday nights. Guests are welcome to sit on the deck or to bring along their own lawn chairs. Snacks and refreshments are available for purchase.

Films are selected from an original list of features shown to the wartime crew of the Big Mamie. Our movie license requires us to keep the titles of these films TOP SECRET, but we’re sure you’ll recognize them from the clues provided below.

HORSE AROUND AT THE FALL RIVER CAROUSEL: The Fun House. The Comet. The Carousel. For decades these rides made Lincoln Park a fixture in North Dartmouth, MA. The Commonwealth's official memorial for 9/11, WWII and the Korean, Vietnam, and Persian Gulf Wars, this nonprofit memorial museum is dedicated to honoring the service and sacrifices of America's veterans.
