Climb aboard for an epic adventure on the decks of the largest collection of historic naval ships in the world! School groups and families will begin their journey in 1941, when the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor thrust the United States into the Second World War. In our newest exhibit, The Pearl Harbor Experience
, you’ll be immersed in the sights and sounds of that fateful day in history, “a date which will live in infamy.” Explore five National Historic Landmarks: the Battleship Massachusetts, Destroyer Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr., Submarine Lionfish, and the only two motor torpedo boats on display in the world, PT 617 and 796. Along with the Hiddensee
, our Russian-built missile corvette, you’ll travel through time as you move from ship to ship--all the way from WWII, through the Korean and Vietnam conflicts, to the Cold War, and beyond.
Plan a visit today! School groups and home-schooling families who book a trip will receive the education rate of only $5 per person. Admission includes:

USS Massachusetts Living History Group
Formed in 2010, the Living History Group is an important part of the way we tell the story of a sailor at sea at Battleship Cove. This volunteer Group’s goal is to recreate a WWII Navy ship’s company and Marine detachment aboard ship, bringing the vessel to life as it was in the Second World War.
The USS Massachusetts
Living History Group drills on the Battleship once a month.
They conduct WWII Training in basic seamanship & Marines of the period as well as performing standard and on occasion not so standard operations aboard ship during WWII.
The USS Massachusetts
Living History Group is actively seeking interested members.
Crew berthing for the weekend will be provided. So get your kit together!
