June 11 - Marine Museum, Lighthouse Gallery Opening1:00-3:00pm. On view will be lighthouse art created by local students. Enjoy a chance to meet with the artists and find out what inspired them.June 26- Clam Boil on the FantailEnjoy a summer evening with a waterfront view on the deck of the battleship, feasting on a classic clam boil with all the fixings. Members: Adults $35, Children $15. Non-members: $40 Adults, $18 Children. Space is limited and reservations are required. Please call 508-678-1100 ext. 101/102 for more information, or to reserve your space.July 4 - Fourth of July Fireworks (tentative)Watch the City of Fall River's Fireworks form the deck of the USS Massachusetts. Please note: The fireworks are put on by the City of Fall River - not the museum. This is dependent on the city's plan and weather permitting. $8.00 per person. No bags, weapons of any kind, or coolers allowed. Guests must pass through a security check point prior to entry. Refreshments will be available aboard the battleship. Doors open at 7:30pm. Tickets are limited. Please stop by the gift shop, or call 508-678-1100.July 9 - Family Nautical NightSpend the night on a WWII Battleship and sleep in restored Navy bunks, eat chow-style meals and enjoy educational nautical programming. Price includes dinner and breakfast and all-day admission. $65 per person. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 508-678-1100 ext. 101/102.July 24 - MassVets MusicfestFantastic music, friends and food! Battleship Cove will host the 2nd annual MassVets Music Fest in partnership with the Veterans Voice Radio and Mustard Seed Music Promotions. Bands will be rockin' classics from Deep Purple, Fleetwood Mac and Pink Floyd and more on the battleship from 12:00-4:00pm. All activities are included with general admission. All Veterans will receive free admission. Veterans' Services Expo will be held on the pier, and will provide information on various services available to veterans.July 29 - Free Fun FridayBattleship Cove opens its doors FREE to all visitors. 9:00am-5:00pm. Made possible by the Highland Street Foundation.August 6 - Vietnam History DayVisit Battleship Cove's collection of Vietnam-era helicopters and ships. Special talks from Vietnam veterans, tours and living history displays will be showcased throughout the day.
