I need to make reservations?
Day-trippers do not need reservations, but
reservations are required of groups of ten or more to qualify for the discounted
group admission rate. How long does it take to
tour the ships?
Naturally it varies with individual levels of interest,
but we recommend allotting at least four hours to tour the museum complex. Do
the ships move?
No, but they do rise and fall with the tides. What
items should I bring or wear?
Comfortable rubber-soled shoes, sunglasses,
and your camera. Please note: for safety reasons, backpack-style infant carriers
are not permitted. Is smoking permitted?
Smoking is permitted on the pier but forbidden on all of the ships and in all
exhibit areas. Are the exhibits handicap-accessible?
The main decks of the battleship and destroyer, both PT boats, and all pierside
aircraft exhibits and rest rooms are also accessible. |
