Battleship Cove actively and primarily collects artifacts of a historical or educational nature that relate to the era that our vessels and aircraft served. This focus is on US Navy Battleships, US Navy Destroyers, US Navy Submarines, US Navy PT Boats, and items related to US Army UH-1 and AH-1 Helicopters, and those that served on or with these historic entities. This would include tools, equipment, uniforms, photographs, and other items that may have been used with the ship or aircraft.
Unfortunately due to space limitations, we additionally can only accept items that fall into the below criteria:
Women in WWII/WAVES/USMCWR/WAAC/WASP/SPARS collections
US Navy and US Marine Corps. collections
Collections on earlier model vessels of the name MASSACHUSETTS.
State of Massachusetts' naval heritage collections
WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War, and Gulf War collections
Fall River Line, RMS Titanic, and HMS Bounty collections
The museum preserves these historical artifacts to share with the public and future generations through enhanced exhibits, preserved displays, and research.
