Join us at Battleship Cove as Daisies and Brownies come together to investigate the complexities of the sky and learn to see things in a new way. Girl Scouts will learn about what surrounds planet earth. Additionally, Girl Scouts will learn about the moon and how the phases/ rotations affect its neighboring planet. Just like how different moon phases happen every day, Girl Scouts will learn about the different constellations you will see in the sky based on the season. Daisies and Brownies will be split up periodically to focus on different badge aspects and work on correlating activities. Open to Daisies and Brownies. Daisy: Space Science Explorer and Brownie: Space Science Adventurer Badge included (for corresponding Girl Scout level). This does not include touring of the ship as this is an afterhours workshop. This is not a drop off event. No workshop fee for adults.

Photo Disclosure: Please note that visitors to the Museum may be photographed, videotaped, or otherwise recorded. By attending, you grant the Museum permission to use photographs and/or audiovisual recordings in which you appear for archival, documentary, publicity, advertising, or other purposes. For anyone that cannot be photographed for advertising are to inform staff upon arrival for the program to ensure you are not photographed.
Cancelation Policy: Please note that all purchases are final. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you can no longer make it to the program your tickets will be considered a donation to the ships.

What is the schedule for the day?
1:30 PM - 2:00 PM: Check in
2:00 PM - 4:30 PM: Workshop
4:30 PM: Workshop Ends.
Do adults need to purchase a ticket?
Adult supervision is required for our workshops. Adult that is attending with child will not be charged.
Are we able to visit the ships?
Your tickets do not include admission to the ships. If you would like to explore the ships prior to the workshop admission tickets are required for all guests in your party.
I can no longer attend, can I get a refund?
All ticket purchases are final. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you can no longer attend your ticket purchase will be considered a donation to the ships.
Will we receive the badge after the workshop?
Once the workshop has been completed you will receive the badge for completing.
What is included in my ticket?
Your ticket will include all of the activities during the workshop and the badge for completing the workshop.
Is this program handicap accessible?
The program will take on the Battleship Massachusetts. Access to the ship is up a steep ramp that can be difficult for those with mobility trouble. The room in which the program will take place is down a ladder on the ship.
Can I bring snacks?
Yes. We do recommend snacks to have before of after the program. If you plan to stay to explore the ships you are welcome to get food at our snack bar on the ship or bring your own.
