About the event
About!
Join us at Battleship Cove as we study one of the fastest things in the universe, light! Light travels for millions of miles, which we use to trace shapes in the night sky, or it can melt our ice cream. Girl Scouts will learn that there is more light than meets the eye and gain a deeper understanding of the light we use every day. Additionally, you will learn how your eyes work in low light and how to protect our skies from light pollution. Open to Cadettes. Cadette: Space Science Researcher badge included. This does not include touring of the ship as this is an afterhours workshop. This is not a drop off event. No workshop fee for adults.
