About the event

See the City of Fall River, MA fireworks display in honor of the 4th of July from the deck of the USS Massachusetts (BB-59). Tickets are $15.00 per child ages 4-12 and $18.00 per adult ages 13+ (price does not include Fare Harbor processing fees).


Gates open at 7:00 PM. All guests will need to go through a security checkpoint prior to entry, and all bags will be checked for restricted items. There is no smoking anywhere on the property. The fireworks are put on by the City of Fall River, at 9:00 PM, and the museum is not responsible for delays or cancellations. Refreshments will be available for sale at the Battleship Snack Shack.

Where do I check in?

 Check in will be directly in front of the Battleship Cove Gift Shop. Check in starts at 7:00 PM and will conclude at 8:45 PM. If you arrive early there will be a line starting in front of the shop. If you arrive after 8:45 PM you will not be able to enter.

Can I bring a wagon or stroller?

Wagons and strollers are not allowed on the Battleship to allow for space for all visitors to see the fireworks. We encourage all visitors to leave strollers in your car however if you need a stroller or wagon for ease of transport for your children to the ship we will have stroller parking to the side of the main entrance onto the Battleship.

Can I bring in a diaper bag?

Diaper bags are allowed however they will be searched upon arrival. Other bags and coolers will not be allowed in.

Can I bring a chair?

You can bring a traditional camp chair to sit on the ship. Please keep in mind that bulky chairs will not be allowed to ensure that there is enough space for all visitors.

Can I purchase tickets in person or day of?

o   All ticket purchases are available online only and must be purchased in advance. Tickets are always sold out prior to the 4th of July and sell fast. We recommend purchasing your tickets earlier rather than later to not miss out.

What happens if there is bad weather?

The City of Fall River puts on the firework display every year. If there is bad weather it is up to the City to make all decisions of rescheduling the Fireworks or to still have them that date. The reschedule date is July 5th. If the fireworks are rescheduled all tickets will be rescheduled to July 5th to be use. Battleship Cove is not responsible for any rescheduling and refunds will not be given if the fireworks are rescheduled.

I can no longer attend the fireworks. What is the cancelation policy?

All ticket purchases are final. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you can no longer attend your ticket purchase will be considered a donation to the ships.

Can tickets be resold?

Reselling of tickets are not allowed and if you purchase tickets from anyone other than Battleship Cove ticket may not be accepted. Please be careful as there are lot of scams out there with fake tickets. Battleship Cove is not responsible for anyone who purchases a fake ticket and admittance will not be allowed.

Who puts on the fireworks display?

The City of Fall River puts on the fireworks display. Battleship Cove is not responsible for the show, rescheduling or cancelation of the show.

Where do I park?

There is limited parking by the main entrance of Battleship Cove and down Water Street. The street will be shut down for safety reasons between 4:30 PM/ 5:00 PM. A parking map will be emailed out to all ticket holders prior to the 4th to ensure everyone knows where they are able to park.
