Let your curiosity flourish at Battleship Cove’s Girl Scout STEM Career Day! You will have the entire day to explore our military naval vessels, as well as earn your STEM Career Exploration Badge on the USS Massachusetts, a battleship that was made through science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Become a scientist and engineer with free fun walk-up activities like “Competitive Boat Building” and "The Strength of Shapes” that will be running periodically throughout the day. This does include touring of the ship. This is not a drop off event. No workshop fee for one accompanying adults. Participants will not receive the badge for this workshop and some requirements may have to be completed with your troops to earn the full badge.

Photo Disclosure: Please note that visitors to the Museum may be photographed, videotaped, or otherwise recorded. By attending, you grant the Museum permission to use photographs and/or audiovisual recordings in which you appear for archival, documentary, publicity, advertising, or other purposes. For anyone that cannot be photographed for advertising are to inform staff upon arrival for the program to ensure you are not photographed.
Cancelation Policy: Please note that all purchases are final. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you can no longer make it to the program your tickets will be considered a donation to the ships.

Do adults need to purchase a ticket?
Yes. One accompanying adult is free. All other adults require tickets.
Are we able to visit the ships?
Your tickets do not include admission to the ships. If you would like to explore the ships prior to the workshop admission tickets are required for all guests in your party.
I can no longer attend, can I get a refund?
All ticket purchases are final. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you can no longer attend your ticket purchase will be considered a donation to the ships.
Will we receive the badge after the workshop?
No badges are not included in this workshop.
What is included in my ticket?
Includes admission to see the ships and all the special activities for the workshop.
Is this program handicap accessible?
The program will take on the Battleship Massachusetts. Access to the ship is up a steep ramp that can be difficult for those with mobility trouble. The room in which the program will take place is down a ladder on the ship.
Can I bring snacks?
Yes. We do recommend snacks to have before of after the program. If you plan to stay to explore the ships you are welcome to get food at our snack bar on the ship or bring your own.
