Join us at Battleship Cove as we learn about two specific petals that pertain to the incredible history of our military ships. Participants will complete the Courageous and strong and Responsible for what I say and do petals. Daisies will have the opportunity to tour various areas of the museum with staff all while combining activities and the visual information they are seeing around them, with amazing facts about veterans and what they have done/do for our country. Open to Daisy Girl Scouts. Daisy Petal Badge not included. This is not a drop off event.

9:30 AM - 11:00 AM: Workshop

11:00 AM - 5:00 PM: Workshop ends and participants are welcome to explore the ships and enjoy lunch in the Wardroom of the Battleship.

  • Photo Disclosure: Please note that visitors to the Museum may be photographed, videotaped, or otherwise recorded. By attending, you grant the Museum permission to use photographs and/or audiovisual recordings in which you appear for archival, documentary, publicity, advertising, or other purposes. For anyone that cannot be photographed for advertising are to inform staff upon arrival for the program to ensure you are not photographed.

  • Cancelation Policy: Please note that all purchases are final. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you can no longer make it to the program your tickets will be considered a donation to the ships.

What is the schedule for the day?

9:00 AM-9:30 AM: Check in and exploration of the ships

9:30 AM: Be at classroom for workshop

9:30 AM- 11:00 AM: Workshop

11:00 AM: End of workshop. After completion of workshop attendees are welcome to visit the ships and enjoy lunch in our Wardroom.

Do adults need to purchase a ticket?

Adult supervision is required for our workshops. We provide one free ticket for an adult that is attending with the workshop participant. Any other adults or children that are coming will be required to have a general admission ticket.

Additional family attending with workshop participant will receive discounted admission. Ticket must be purchase in advanced when purchasing tickets with attendee to receive discount.

Are we able to visit the ships?

Yes your ticket does include admission to see the ships. We encourage our attendees to explore all of the exhibits that are open that day.

I can no longer attend, can I get a refund?

All ticket purchases are final. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you can no longer attend your ticket purchase will be considered a donation to the ships.

Will we receive the petals after the workshop?

The workshop will complete all of the requirements to earn the Courageous and strong and Responsible for what I say and do petals.

Petals will not be provided at the completion of the workshop and will need to be purchase on your own through your Girl Scout Council.

What is included in my ticket?

Your ticket will include the workshop and exploration of all of the ships open the day of operation. Visitors are welcome to explore after the workshop till we close at 5:00 pm.

Is this program handicap accessible?

The program will take on the Battleship Massachusetts. Access to the ship is up a steep ramp that can be difficult for those with mobility trouble. The room in which the program will take place is down a ladder on the ship.

Can I bring snacks?

Yes. We do recommend snacks to have before of after the program. If you plan to stay to explore the ships you are welcome to get food at our snack bar on the ship or bring your own.
