Workshops for April Homeschool Day:

• Homefront Flashlights (10:00 AM): Learn about supply and demand during WW2 and how individuals made do with the materials they had (i.e. Homefront flashlights). Furthermore, learn about how electricity is transferred and how flashlights can be utilized to practice Morse code. Activity includes wire, battery, and bulb.
• SOLD OUT! Sir Circuit (11:15 AM): Find out what makes the world tick in this circuit building class. Students will learn about the basics of electricity and what it means to complete a circuit. Once they have mastered the basics, students will attempt to create their own basic electrical machine! Activity does not include a       take home electrical machine.
• Oh Captain, My Captain Interactive Scavenger Hunt (1:30 PM): The U.S.S. Massachusetts is our biggest ship, and you’ve been tasked to find your missing captain! As a team, find clues hidden around the ship and solve puzzles to track the captain. As you discover new parts of the ship you’ll learn what they were used for in the daily lives of sailors.
