Experience Battleship Cove like never before with our new Nautical Evenings! This exciting program invites families to explore our ships and exhibit buildings after hours. Engage in hands-on activities or self-guided exploration that brings our history to life. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this unforgettable experience!
June Life at Sea: Experience the life of sailors aboard historic USS Massachusetts. Immerse yourself through hands-on activities while exploring their jobs and downtime activities at sea. Learn about military life during World War II beyond the battles and discover how Navy traditions and entertainment helped passed a sailor’s time.
Activities Include but are not limited to:
The Sailor's Job Faire: Participants will partake in a Sailor’s Job Faire where each will learn which jobs best fit their own interests. Next, they will explore a number of activities. After learning what job each participant is best fit for, they will explore a number of activities resembling what the sailors in those roles would have done.
Humor and Music of World War II: Songs and stories that pass the time at sea.
Self-Guided Exploration of our historic ships.

Photo Disclosure: Please note that visitors to the Museum may be photographed, videotaped, or otherwise recorded. By attending, you grant the Museum permission to use photographs and/or audiovisual recordings in which you appear for archival, documentary, publicity, advertising, or other purposes. For anyone that cannot be photographed for advertising are to inform staff upon arrival for the program to ensure you are not photographed.
Cancellation Policy: Please note that all purchases are final. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you can no longer make it to the program your tickets will be considered a donation to the museum.

Will there be food available for purchase?
Yes, our snack bar will be open during the event to purchase food during the program.
Where do I park?
Parking is available at Narrows Parking lot, paved DCR parking lot, and the dirt lot across from the DCR lot. Please see reference map.
Can I purchase tickets upon arrival?
Tickets are limited for this program and advance ticket sales are highly recommended. Walk-up tickets if program is not sold out.
I can no longer attend, can I get a refund?
All ticket purchases are final. There are no refunds or transfers for tickets. If you can no longer attend, your tickets will be considered a donation to the museum.
