
Maritime Museum:
The Maritime Museum was founded in 1968 as a historical and nautical museum representing such items as the famous Fall River Line and RMS Titanic. Known nationwide for its renowned Titanic exhibit, it is one of the world's largest of its type dedicated to that subject.

The main gallery exhibition is entitled "Sails, Paddles & Screws: The History of Maritime Travel and Culture" and showcases the museum's collection to the public in a reinvigorated way through interactive display and the latest in museum exhibit design and programming.
The exhibit includes three distinct sections:

Come see the exhibit "The Birth and Death of a Titan: the Story of the TITANIC," in which visitors will walk through her passageways, check out the menu options, and learn about fellow passengers as they explore the 28' TITANIC model featured in the 1953 20th Century Fox film of the same name.
